General information
check-in
Your room will be ready for you to check in by 3:00 p.m. at the latest. Planning to arrive early? No problem. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us, spend the day enjoying nature, or relax and unwind in our Wellness & Spa.
check-out
We kindly ask you to check out by 11:00 a.m. The Wellness & Spa is available for use until 3:00 p.m. on your day of departure.
Upon request and subject to availability, it is possible to book a late check-out until 1:00 p.m.
Are there rooms with balconies?
In addition to a fantastic view of nature, we offer room categories with and without balconies. You can find these categories in the overview under the menu item "Rooms."
Young guests
Children welcome. Crib (CHF 15) & toys available at reception, high chairs available in the restaurant.
Is it possible to have extra beds in the rooms?
Certain rooms can be supplemented with an extra bed upon request and comfortably accommodate up to three people. Please contact us directly.
Accepted payment methods?
We accept all common payment methods such as credit cards, TWINT (only in the restaurant), and cash.

How many rooms does the hotel have and how are they furnished?
There are 53 individually furnished rooms. Some offer lake views, others mountain views. All rooms are non-smoking, and Wi-Fi is included.

Are there wellness and leisure facilities?
The offers include:
Outdoor pool (heated), outdoor whirlpool, sauna, bio sauna, relaxation room, sun terrace, lawn with a view of Lake Lucerne.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are very welcome here. Upon arrival, food, a drinking bowl, and a cozy spot for your furry friend will be waiting for them. Please bring your pet's favorite food with you.
Is there catering/a restaurant?
The hotel has a panoramic restaurant with Mediterranean flair, a terrace with lake views, and a selection of regional and Mediterranean dishes.
Is the hotel suitable for seminars, conferences, and events?
It is a lake and seminar hotel with 5 rooms flooded with natural light for seminars, banquets, or weddings.
Getting here & transportation
Where is the Floraalpina Lake and Seminar Hotel located and how can I get there?
The hotel is located just outside the center of Vitznau, at Schibernstrasse 2.
By car
Via Küssnacht along the lake route via Weggis to Vitznau; the hotel is located approximately 1.5 km outside the village center on the left-hand side.
Public transportation:
Connection via train to Lucerne, then continue by boat or train/SBB to Vitznau. The hotel has its own bus station, "FloraAlpina," and there is also a free shuttle service from the Vitznau boat station.
parking spaces
Covered and free-standing parking spaces are located next to and below the hotel entrance.
luggage compartment
Our luggage room is located right next to the reception desk. You can store your luggage there at any time free of charge.
Are charging stations for electric cars available?
Yes, there are two charging stations at our farmhouse.
